Privacypolicy.

Synapse Street ("we", "us") is a marketing studio for therapists in private practice, based in New York. This policy explains what we collect when you use synapsestreet.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

We collect what you give us (like your name and email) and some technical information about how you use the site. We use it to send what you asked for, run our business, measure what works and show our ads to people likely to find them useful. We don't sell your information for money.

Information you give us. Your name and email when you request a guide or join our newsletter. Your answers when you take the Practice Diagnostic. Your name, email, booking details and any answers you add when you book a call. Your details and payment when you buy a product or service (payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us). Anything you send us by email, message or video.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, cookies, pixels and similar tools collect things like the pages you view, the links you click, the website that sent you, your device and browser type, an approximate location based on your IP address, and campaign tags in links (such as utm codes).

Please don't send client information. We don't need, and don't ask for, any information about your clients or their health. Please leave it out of forms, emails and calls.

• To send the guide, emails or resources you asked for, and our newsletter if you joined it.
• To schedule and prepare for calls, deliver services and products, and handle payments.
• To reply to your messages.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To measure our advertising and show our ads to people who have visited the site or are likely to be interested, on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We use service providers that process information on our behalf:

• Kit (email, forms and checkout)
• Calendly (call booking)
• Google Analytics and Google Ads (site analytics and ad measurement)
• Meta Pixel (ad measurement and audiences on Facebook and Instagram)
• Microsoft Clarity (anonymous usage and click patterns, to improve the site)
• Wix (site hosting) and Netlify (hosting for the Practice Diagnostic)
• VideoAsk (video messages, if you choose to send one)

We may upload a hashed (scrambled) list of email addresses to advertising platforms so we can avoid showing ads to existing subscribers or show relevant ads to them. We also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if the business is ever sold.

• Emails: every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also just reply and ask.
• Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use the cookie banner where it appears.
• Ads: you can limit ad personalization in your Meta ad preferences and Google ad settings, or through the opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info.
• Your information: you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
• Targeted advertising: some US state laws treat advertising pixels as "sharing" information for targeted ads. You can opt out of this by emailing us; we will honor browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control where the law requires it.

How long we keep it. We keep subscriber information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and client and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Security. We use reputable providers and limit who can access information, but no online service is completely secure.

Children. This site is for professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
